I grew up in Ljungskile, but are now living with my family outside the city Trollhättan.
Since my childhood I've spent the summers in Alsbäck by the fjord Gullmarn, not far from the city Lysekil.
Alsbäck is located amongst the nature of the west coast, with mountains and salt water bays.
I love the smell of the salt water ocean and to sit on sun heated rocks.
When I paint motifs of the coast I often get nice moments overlooking the ocean and the horizon, enjoying the view and nature.
Painting is important to me and I prefer to use watercolour.
The paper i use are made of cotton or linen and are fairly thick.
And the paper plays a large roll of the end result.
Watercolour can be used in a thousand different ways, depending on how the water is used, if the surface is damp or dry.
It's a erratic technique and sometimes the water has its own ways with the colour pigments.
You'll have to work fast and still posess the patience to wait for a small spot of water to dry out before proceeding.
I've been painting watercolour for nearly 20 years and have had numerous exhibitions.
